AN ESTABLISHED SCHOOL IN LIESTAL
The UNICA school has a stand at the city festival in Liestal. The school is even allowed to open the festival stage with a few songs from the musical “Annie”! There are many good conversations.
Also in September, the Children’s Day takes place. Once again, the UNICA school is invited and is allowed to offer children’s games on the Gitterli.
LEGO® STADT-PROJEKT is in the school building for three days. The whole school – from nursery to secondary – builds a huge city together and shows it to the parents at the end. A really great event!
Within one day, the entire school operation was switched to “distance learning” – the tried and tested team of teachers mastered the Corona lockdown period together and enabled the students to continue their schooling smoothly.
In June, the “baton” was handed over: Carlos Peter now takes over as Head of the Comprehensive School and the Secondary School. Ulrike Felber continues as head of the primary school. The management team is complemented by a secretary, an accountant and a project manager.
Four generations of school leaders were present at the baton handover!
A new school model complements the existing school offer: the UnicaFlex model!
School at school and school at an extracurricular place of learning!
Since the Week of Prayer in November 2021, the school has been growing weekly! Now over 100 students attend Unica.
